Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within a commercial retail environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can work independently with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and detailed cleaning throughout the facility, including:
- Offices (under tables, corners, and detailed areas)
- Washrooms
- Vestibule and sales floor
- Lunchroom and common areas
- Sweep and clean floors using an auto scrubber
- Buff floors throughout the store using a propane burnisher (varnisher)
- Empty garbage and recycling bins
- Restock washroom supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, soap)
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is kept in good working condition
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of commercial cleaning experience
- Experience operating an auto scrubber and propane burnisher (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Reliable and consistent work ethic
