Special Projects Mechanic
Compact Compression has an opening for a highly skilled mechanical type to assist in the assembly and testing of prototypes and limited production oilfield production equipment.
Primary Function: Assembly of new machines with guidance by engineering, and providing input to the design for improved manufacturability, serviceability and durability. Other duties to include equipment repair and testing, occasional fabrication and welding, shop maintenance, and other general shop duties as required.
Qualifications: Must have a strong mechanical background. Knowledge of spark ignitions, engines, hydraulics, light fabrication, welding, wiring. The selected candidate will have above average organizational, communication and mentoring skills.
