We're seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our client's team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a propane or diesel forklift, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience operating a forklift
- Proven safety record and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Availability to work 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Willingness to work outdoors year-round
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate a temperature-controlled diesel/propane forklift to manage inventory and fulfill orders (approximately 90% of workday)
- Manage outdoor inventory, including picking orders for materials such as pipes, coils, and patio stone
- Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accurate inventory levels
- Perform general yard maintenance tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Conduct cycle counting and inventory management tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Direct trucks to designated loading docks
- Unload and receive merchandise, inspecting for quality and damage
- Perform pre and post inspections on forklift to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met
- Other duties as assigned

Wage: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 10:00am to 7:00pm
