We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Homeroom Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with MB curriculum standards
- Deliver instruction across various subjects, adapting methods to meet diverse student needs
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing constructive feedback
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and active participation
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere
- Incorporate educational technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area; Valid Manitoba teaching certification, certification from another Canadian province, or proof of application in progress.
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students, parents, and staff
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Passion for education and commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Proficiency in educational technology tools and software
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Report directly to the School Principal and contribute to advancing the school’s mission and vision

Pay: $49,999.00-$60,001.00 per year
