We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician Team Lead for our client located in the Richmond Hill area. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of leadership and background within manufacturing, in particular the Food, Pharma or Cosmetics industry
Job Responsibilities:
- Procure and source all required replacement parts and materials
- Plan, organize, and schedule maintenance activities for production equipment
- Supervise maintenance operations and inspect critical building systems including HVAC, electrical, heating and ventilation, to ensure reliable performance
- Promote continuous hands-on support by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, servicing equipment, and assisting with maintenance tasks as required
- Evaluate technicians’ performance and provide coaching to support continuous improvement
- Coordinate and oversee the work of external service providers including plumbers and electricians
- Develop and implement detailed maintenance plans covering both preventative and corrective activities
- Contribute to maintenance budgeting by helping prioritize repair projects, monitoring expenditures, and proving recommendations for cost-effective maintenance spending
- Manage and coordinate contractor activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in according with company standards
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician Team Lead within the Food/Pharma and Cosmetics industries
- Experience with SAP, ERP and CMMS
- Knowledge and experience of Heating, Electrical, Air Conditioning and Ventilation systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven track record of exemplary leadership skills
Work Schedule: Day Shift
Pay: $35-30/hr. (Dependent on experience)
Pay: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
