Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Auction Lot Stickerers (Heavy) to join our team. This role involves handling large, heavy items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate tagging and organization of auction lots. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a strong attention to detail. This position offers an opportunity to work with diverse heavy machinery and contribute to efficient auction lot management.
Duties
- Apply stickers and labels accurately to auction items, including heavy equipment and construction materials
- Load and unload items using appropriate heavy equipment such as forklifts, crane, clamp trucks, or order pickers
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and lot locations
- Assist with the shipping & receiving process, ensuring proper documentation and handling of goods
- Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of large or bulky items safely and efficiently
- Load and unload items from trucks, ensuring proper placement within the warehouse or staging areas
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of auction lots
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Warehouse distribution and management system experience
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and order pickers
- Prior experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or construction environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with order picking processes and inventory control systems
- Experience operating heavy machinery including forklift, crane, or clamp truck is preferred
- Strong attention to detail for accurate labeling and lot organization
- Good physical stamina for manual labor tasks involving load & unload activities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
