Granville Veterinary Clinic is a privately owned small animal clinic (dogs & cats only) located in west side Edmonton. The practice is open Mon-Fri (8 am - 6 pm) & Sat (9 am- 2 pm). We're closed Sundays/Stat Holidays. We offer digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, full in-house IDEXX lab & Cornerstone software. **Exciting news is we have a completely BRAND NEW custom facility that we just moved into as of April 2026! The facility is approx. 5000 sq foot, including 5 exam rooms, euthanasia room, multiple treatment room tables & two surgical suites among other things!
We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join our staff of 4 veterinarians, 5 technicians and 5 assistants. Our mission at Granville is to offer exceptional medical care to our patients - while still maintaining a healthy work/life balance for all staff. We are a close group of people who share the mindset that we should enjoy coming into work, and like to have fun while being here.
Skills required would include performing routine surgeries, dental procedures and a variety of medical appointments. Other requirements would include having good communication skills, being a team player, having problem solving skills and a friendly manner when dealing with both clients and other staff members.
At Granville Vet we treat all animals as family members and strive to build relationships with our clients. It is our goal to spend the time required to get to know our clients and work up cases properly - for this reason we allow ample time for new patient and medical appointments.
We're very open to discuss hours for the position - of course the ideal candidate would be able to do 2-5 weekday shifts, with a rotation on Saturdays (up to one Saturday every 3 weeks). Wage is negotiable pending experience. Start date is immediate. Benefits include all ABVMA dues, annual CE & scrub allowances, VIN account and a health plan is available.
We look forward to you joining our amazing, hardworking (but still laid back) and fun team!
