We are a small landscaping business that was started 15 years ago as a family business. We do lawn maintenance, landscaping and snow removal in the winter. We are looking for 2-3 Lawn Maintenance to hire on as a full-time in Calgary starting as soon as possible (April 15). We have consistent full-time work for the spring and summer months. We are seeking general landscaping labourers to support the growth of our business. Only detail-oriented, friendly, and great valued individuals will be considered

-Mowing
-Spring cleanup/fall cleanup
-Hedge trimming
-Tree removal
-Landscaping projects like making patios, decks, etc.

What You Will Receive
-AVERAGE INCOME FOR FULL-TIME SPRING/SUMMER landscapers IN 2024 WAS approximately $11,500, and there is an opportunity to make more.
-Steady, full-time work throughout the spring, summer, and fall months, with lawn maintenance being our primary focus for most of the summer, however as a labourer you will have an opportunity to grow in the company and do bigger jobs.
-As an employee, we carry liability insurance and are registered with WCB.
-Work in groups of 2-4.
-Culture events with the team (movie nights, going out for dinner, camping trips, golfing and other things that are still being planned.
Responsibilities
-The responsibility of the Lawn Care Technician, landscaper, general labourer will be to perform and coordinate the lawn maintenance of each customer and constructing different landscaping projects in mainly residential and commercial settings. Experience in lawn maintenance and landscaping is an asset for this position and people with more experience who have a vehicle or truck will be considered first or ahead of others. You must have a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills.
-Driving a truck and being able to use a trailer that is around 11 feet or more is an asset.
-Mowing, spring cleanups, and taking care of lawns and yards.
-Constructing landscaping projects such as decks, patios, rock/mulch beds, outdoor fire pits, fences, etc.
-Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects and creating and executing estimates for different potential jobs.
-Evaluate customer requests, read and interpret estimates, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.
-You will receive full paid training for this position.
Requirements
-Full-time access to a truck (if you don't have a truck then we may still consider you) and willing to use it for work is required. Consideration if you own a cube van.
-Must be able to get to all locations of Calgary and surrounding small towns on time.
-Must have employment references and provide them along with filling out your application.
-Must pass the screening process.
-Must work efficiently and cleanly.
-Must be great with customers with excellent communication skills.
-Must guarantee satisfaction!!
-Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
-Must have Safety shoes/boots (steel toes)
-Must have a clean driving record and be willing to give an abstract within 3 to 5 years.
