The North Shore Health Network provides rural healthcare for communities along the north shore of Lake Huron – including services in Blind River, Thessalon and Richards Landing. The North Shore Health Network sites have been serving their communities faithfully for many years providing emergency, acute, complex continuing care, long term care and community support services.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
· Effectively perform technical examination according to department and governing standards
· Is responsible for making clinical decisions, exercising judgement to ensure department protocol and patient safety is not compromised
· Participates in departmental Quality Assurance programs and is knowledgeable in the utilization and care of department equipment
· Participates with week-end and on call rotation
· Rotates through Ultrasound & X-Ray
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
· Successful completion of an approved Radiography Program
· Is registered and in good standing with CMRITO
· Must have proof of valid liability insurance
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Knowledge of Meditech Expanse
· Excellent interpersonal and interprofessional teamwork skills
· Excellent time management and organizational skills
· Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
· High Standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information
· Motivated self-learner, who seeks and evaluates learning opportunities to enhance patient care and continuously strives to maintain lifelong learning
· Demonstrated good work performance and attendance record
ASSETS:
· Bilingual – French/English
· Experience with ECGs and Holter monitors
· Experience with BMD
SALARY RANGE:
· $38.45 - $53.13
BENEFITS:
· Eligible to join Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP)
· 14% in lieu of benefit
· 6% vacation
