Main Tasks:
The Production Floor Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations on the production floor. This person follows up on active orders, coordinates priorities with different departments, and helps ensure that production deadlines are met.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate work on the production floor according to established priorities.
· Follow up on active orders and ensure that parts move properly through the different departments.
· Communicate with supervisors, operators, and production management to resolve issues quickly.
· Verify the status of jobs in production and report any delays, material shortages, or quality issues.
· Help organize priorities for cutting, bending, welding, painting, inspection, and shipping.
· Ensure that work instructions, drawings, and production documents are available and clearly understood.
· Participate in improving work methods and following internal procedures.
· Maintain good communication between the office, production, and shipping departments.
· Ensure that the work environment remains clean, safe, and well organized.
· Perform all other related tasks required to support production operations.
Required Skills:
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
· Good communication skills.
· Ability to work under pressure in a production environment.
· Team player with a strong sense of responsibility.
· Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
· Ability to read technical drawings is an asset.
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
