We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist/ Registered Psychotherapist, qualifying to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults, those 16+ years and confident providing therapy to these individuals .
** If you've done additional training for Addiction, ADHD and or ASD, it would be an asset**
and/or
** If you have done additional training around grief and loss it would be an asset**

We are a close knit, professional and supportive psychotherapy clinic working across Ontario virtually and in person from our office in Cobourg, ON.
** This position is for primarily in-person psychotherapy services in Cobourg, ON **
We are open to bringing on ONE virtual only RP or RP, Qualifying for the right candidate
Our goal is to provide a supportive and collaborative environment with a focus on client care, team building and collaboration as a clinic. Working with our team means you'll have administrative support which includes using the practice management software JaneApp that also includes your virtual platform to see clients as needed. Regular blogs, paid advertising and social media support and postings will also be included to promote you across our platforms.

Responsibilities
- Collect and document client data, including medical history and current symptoms
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide support and guidance to clients (must be able to work with those 16+ minimum)
- Conduct therapy sessions using various modalities
* Somatic work, Focusing, Attachment, EFT, IFS/parts or transpersonal training is an asset*
- Offer counselling services for individuals dealing with low self-esteem, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, disordered eating and/or other specific concerns
- accurate note taking with 48 hours of session completion
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Master's level equivalent in psychotherapy
- Experience working in a mental health setting is desirable
- The candidate must have additional training/experience with other modalities aside from CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, Narrative and Solution focused therapies.
- Must have Training and experience in work with youth ages 16+ if you're working with that demographic
- Training in any somatic therapies and/or IFS, parts or sub-personalities, ADHD/ASD specific training is a major asset
- Knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to CRPO Professional Practice Standards and ethical guidelines
- Strong documentation practices for accurate record keeping
- Registered with the CRPO (mandatory)
- Actively and engaged with Supervision as required/needed
- Your own Liability Insurance (proof must be provided)
