Duties
- Measure, cut, and install glass panels, windows, and related fixtures according to project specifications
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and caulking guns to ensure secure and proper installation
- Remove old or damaged glass or windows safely before installing new units
- Seal installations with caulking to prevent leaks and improve insulation efficiency
- Assist with restoration projects involving window replacement or glass repair in historic or damaged structures
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards
- Clean work areas after installation to ensure a professional finishExperience
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or glazing preferred
- Hands-on experience with caulking, glazing techniques, and window installation procedures
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in various working conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
