Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team in Squamish.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute electrical installations.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion on time and within scope.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in training apprentices and new team members.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical processes and techniques.
- Travel to various project sites across the region as needed.
- Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal or TQ certification as a Journeyperson Electrician.
- Proven experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and low voltage systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools efficiently.
- Experience working in construction or renovation environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to travel regionally for project assignments.
