RAM Excavating is a growing civil construction company based in Quesnel, BC. We work on road and bridge infrastructure, municipal civil projects, and earthworks across BC. We’re looking for a reliable gravel truck driver to join our crew for the construction season.
The Position
Seasonal, full-time hours as project workload requires, with on-call availability. You’ll be hauling gravel and aggregate to and from active civil construction sites, so expect variable hours, early starts, and busy stretches when projects are running hard. Overtime is available.
What You’ll Do
- Operate a gravel/dump truck hauling aggregate, fill, and materials to and from job sites
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any deficiencies
- Load and dump safely around ground crews, equipment, and the public
- Keep accurate haul records/load slips
- Maintain a clean, safe truck and follow all site safety procedures
What You Need
- Valid BC Class 3 driver’s licence with air brake endorsement
- 2+ years of gravel/dump truck driving experience
- Clean driver’s abstract (current abstract required with application)
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment on active construction sites
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work with minimal supervision
