Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Maintenance team member to support our restaurant or hospitality facility. This role involves maintaining cleanliness standards, ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen and dining areas, and assisting with general maintenance tasks. Duties
- Power wash and set up patio
- Help owner and chef with small maintenance task around the pub
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Assist with basic food preparation and food handling as needed
- Support kitchen staff with food service tasks, including setting up and clearing tables
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment functions properly
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines at all times to uphold health standards
- Manage waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with facility policies
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient workflow
Experience
- The ability to work well with your hands and handheld tools
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous
- Experience with food handling, basic cooking, or food preparation is a plus
- Knowledge of food service operations or hospitality practices can be beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills are essential for success in this role
Pay: $16.00-$17.50 per hour
