Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating truss design solutions across residential and commercial construction projects. The Designer will collaborate closely with clients to deliver high-quality designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Duties
- Develop detailed designs using MiTek Structure and MiTek engineering software
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Utilize analysis skills to evaluate design feasibility, structural integrity, and compliance with building codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to gather requirements and produce design concepts clearly.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organizational efficiency through time management and leadership skills.
- Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
Experience
- Experience in residential or commercial construction design would be a benefit.
- Proficiency in MiTek software would be a benefit but will train accordingly.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading and schematics.
- Strong communication skills to work with design team members effectively.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
