FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE – DOWNTOWN TORONTO & NORTH YORK | Ontario | Full-Time | Immediate Start | $20/hr Base + Commission & Bonuses | Biweekly Pay
Job Summary We are hiring Field Sales Representatives across Downtown Toronto and North York on behalf of our client, a food services company in the Greater Toronto Area. In this role you will visit prospective restaurants in your assigned territory, introduce our client's online ordering and delivery platform, and close new accounts face-to-face. You plan your own daily route, own your results, and are rewarded directly for your performance. No call centre, no cold calling this is relationship-based, in-person selling in your own neighbourhood. Your base hourly pay is always guaranteed; commission is pure upside on top.
Responsibilities
- Visit prospective restaurants and food service businesses in your assigned territory to present our client's platform and generate new accounts
- Plan and manage your own daily route across Downtown Toronto and North York independently
- Confirm each eligible new restaurant using a verification link provided to you
- Conduct in-person presentations with restaurant owners and decision-makers in a clear and confident manner
- Log every visit, outcome, and follow-up note in our team collaboration app (Lark) in real time
- Meet weekly activity and individual sales performance goals
- Review your daily performance summary covering visits, conversion rate, and commission breakdown
- Represent the company professionally in every client interaction
Experience & Qualifications
- Fluent in English verbal and written (required)
- Sales experience in any field is required (field sales, B2B, retail, door-to-door, or any customer-facing sales role)
- Restaurant, hospitality, or food-service industry experience is a strong asset
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Comfortable approaching and engaging business owners and managers face-to-face confidently
- Strong communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-starter with solid time management you will plan and execute your daily schedule independently
- A personal vehicle is not required for candidates working within the City of Toronto (transit-accessible territory)
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply the Toronto restaurant community is diverse and language skills are a competitive advantage
Compensation & Schedule
- $20.00 CAD per hour base pay guaranteed floor every pay period
- Commission paid on a biweekly cycle: you receive whichever is higher between your commission total and your base hourly earnings
- Three bonus tiers: Personal Goal Achievement, Personal Ranking (top weekly performer), and Group Ranking full details reviewed at onboarding
- 7-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Online onboarding training held Wednesdays or Thursdays, 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM, followed by a written evaluation

Pay: $20.00-$27.59 per hour
