Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Cook dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in food plating and garnishing to enhance visual appeal.
- Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Stock and restock kitchen supplies as needed, ensuring proper storage of ingredients.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Prior experience in serving or restaurant environments is a plus but not required. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who are eager to grow their skills in a professional kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Must have previous Kitchen Experience. Must be able to commute to and from work reliably. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
