The Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan is seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring, results-oriented team player to join our team in the capacity of:
Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Attendant/Operator (Seasonal)
The Position:
The Recreation, Parks, and Facilities Attendant/Operator (Seasonal), under the direction of the Manager of Recreation, Parks and Facilities, will perform custodial and general maintenance duties within the Township’s arena, curling club, facilities and parks. Duties also include maintaining the ice surfaces using the ice resurfacer and other equipment as required. The rate of pay is $19.77 per hour (2026 rate).
Qualifications: Our preferred candidate will have the following:
- Grade 12 education
- Knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical equipment, safety and maintenance procedures and custodial activities
- WHMIS Certification and Standard First Aid/CPR with AED Training Certification
- Valid Ontario Driver's License Class “G”
- Customer Service Training and/or experience
- and two years of related work experience (would be an asset)
- ORFA Basic Refrigeration Certificate (would be an asset)
- Smart Serve Training Certification (would be an asset)
