About Classic Home Services
Classic Home Services is a fast-growing, London-based company delivering premium handyman, maintenance, and property enhancement services to residential and commercial clients. We are in full growth mode — adding new products, new service lines, and new people — and the energy here reflects it.
Our team is one of our biggest strengths. We have built a culture where people want to stay — high staff retention is something we are genuinely proud of, and it shows in the quality of work and relationships we bring to every client. We are looking for people who are energized by growth, take ownership of their work, and want to be part of building something.
Our work spans products and services that uplift homes, businesses, and properties. Our clients include residential homeowners, commercial clients, and property managers — and we are actively bringing new and exciting offerings to market. If you want your contributions to actually matter, this is the opportunity.
What You’ll Do
As a Sales Representative at Classic Home Services, you will be a face of the company in the London market — owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. This is a field-heavy role. Most of your day will be spent in the field, meeting prospects, attending site visits, and building relationships in person. You will connect with the owner and operations manager daily via remote check-ins to stay aligned, and once a deal is closed, you hand off cleanly to our operations team. Your focus is winning business.
Day to day, you will:
- Tap into our warm database of over 1,000 past residential customers to re-engage and uncover new opportunities
- Develop and grow new relationships with property managers, building owners, and commercial facility managers
- Sell our current offerings including handyman services, holiday lighting, permanent lighting, and landscape lighting
- Sell and assist in the rollout of new and exciting products and services related to home and property
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline across both residential and commercial segments, shifting focus as opportunities evolve
- Prepare accurate, professional proposals using quoting and estimating software
- Hand off closed deals to our operations team for seamless delivery
- Connect with the owner and operations manager daily — quick remote check-ins to keep priorities clear and momentum going
- Hit revenue targets, build new accounts, and secure property management contracts in year one
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who has been in the field, built relationships from scratch, and knows how to close. This is not a role for someone who has only handled inbound leads or managed accounts that were handed to them. The right person is comfortable walking into a cold prospect, confident enough to work independently, and experienced enough to hit the ground running with the support we provide.
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of prospecting and opening new accounts
- Some familiarity with home services, trades, or property maintenance — being able to speak the language of our customers and our work is a real asset
- Experience selling to or working with property managers is an asset, not a requirement
- A hunter mentality — self-driven, comfortable managing your own territory and day without someone looking over your shoulder
- Strong in-person communication and consultative selling skills — you build trust quickly and follow through
- Comfortable using quoting or estimating software to build and present proposals
- At ease in a growing, fast-moving company where not everything is perfectly systematized yet
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a vehicle (mileage allowance provided)
What We Offer
- Flexible compensation structured around your experience — with a realistic path to $80,000–$100,000 in your first year through base salary and commission, growing year after year as the business grows
- Mileage allowance for client travel
- Flexible schedule — we trust you to manage your time and your territory
- A dedicated ramp-up period to get fully up to speed on our products, services, and customers before you’re out selling
- Ongoing coaching and direct support from the owner and operations manager
- A clear path to grow into a sales leadership or management role as the company scales
- The chance to join an energized, growing team early — and have real influence on how we build
