At Red Barn Market, we’re proud to provide our community with an outstanding shopping experience. We’re looking for a Front-End Supervisor to support our cashier team, ensure smooth and accurate transactions, and deliver top-notch customer service at our Mattick's Farm store.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Support the front-end team, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
- Training: Train and mentor new cashiers on company policies and procedures.
- Cash Control: Oversee cash handling, deposits, transaction accuracy and manage registers.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient service at checkout including scanning, bagging, assisting with inquiries, returns, and answering phone calls.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing front-end area.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments and assist with stocking when needed.
Qualifications:
- Availability: Must be available for weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience required. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling is an asset. Previous cash management experience in a retail environment preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-Centric: Friendly, approachable, and committed to exceptional service. Customer-focused mindset.
- Organization & Problem-Solving: Ability to stay organized and handle busy periods in a fast-paced environment.
