Join our Supply Chain Management team in Calgary and support the delivery of impactful projects through effective procurement and contracting activities. As a Junior Contracting & Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a key role ensuring purchasing processes run efficiently, timelines are met, and project needs are supported with precision and collaboration.
- Support procurement and contracting activities to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery
- Develop bidder lists and coordinate bid processes, including RFQs and package preparation
- Contribute to bid evaluations and support recommendations for contract awards
- Create and issue purchase orders, contracts, and requisitions aligned with project requirements
- Collaborate with engineers, expeditors, and vendors to manage changes and maintain schedules
- Monitor procurement performance and communicate risks, delays, or conflicts proactively
- Support contract and PO closeout activities to ensure all obligations are fulfilled
- Contribute to reporting, documentation, and administrative processes that strengthen team operations
- Degree, diploma, or certificate in Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 1–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or contracting
- Understanding of procurement workflows and contracting practices in project environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Experience in an EPCM environment is considered an asset

Compensation:
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 - $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 - $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 - $80,000
