Job Summary:

We are looking for the right individual to become the next member of our close-knit team here at Platinum Choice HVAC. The successful candidate will be expected to perform all aspects of the job from servicing, removal, installation, commissioning of residential and commercial air conditioners, water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps, gas piping, fireplace installations and much more.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Minimum G2 Gas Technician Licence
- 313D Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic Licence
- Valid G2 Ontario Driver's Licence
Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling, ventilation, fireplaces and water heaters
- Conduct plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs.
- Utilize welding techniques for system repairs or modifications when necessary.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to guide installations or repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and execute effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts used, and system performance.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining system issues and recommended solutions clearly.
Skills:
- 3-5 years experience with HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently using technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for working with customers, co-workers and office staff
- Familiarity with construction processes and ability to read schematics effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments. This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, technically skilled, and committed to delivering high-quality service in the HVAC industry.
Pay: $33.00-$38.00 per hour
