KidiKare Early Learning Centre is seeking a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team.
We are looking for an educator who has experience working with both toddlers and preschool-aged children and is confident communicating fluently in English with children, families, and colleagues.
Position Details
- Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
- Hours: Approximately 20–30 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible weekday shifts
- Location: West Vancouver, BC
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support children's development and interests.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
- Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Qualifications
- Valid BC Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Certificate.
- Experience working with both toddlers and preschool-aged children.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Criminal Record Check clearance.
- Passion for early childhood education and child-centered learning.
