Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in automotive repair and possess mechanical knowledge and sales experience in a service advisor role
Duties:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately
- Provide service recommendations and explain repairs in a clear, honest, and confident manner
- Prepare estimates and obtain customer authorization for work
- Communicate effectively between customers and technicians
- Monitor repair progress and provide updates to customers
- Handle customer concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner
- Close repair orders and ensure accurate billing
- Maintain organized service files and documentation
- Support shop efficiency and daily workflow
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of mechanic tools and equipment would be an asset
- Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Experience in sales or dealership environment is a plus
