Overview
Daybar Industries Limited is currently seeking an experienced Bystronic Laser Machine Operator to join our growing team in Mississauga, Ontario.
Responsibilities
As a member of the Production Team reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for taking up a variety of supporting tasks in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on producing a finished product of superior quality.
Excellent time management skills, good communication and teamwork is essential as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers to ensure production and warehouse procedures are carried out.
Duties:
- Set up and operate Bystronic and Trumpf laser machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and work instructions
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on laser equipment and lifting devices
- Load raw materials and inspect incoming material quality
- Unload finished parts and ensure quality specifications are met
- Perform quality checks according to work orders and technical drawings
- Complete production, downtime, and quality documentation accurately
- Update SPC documentation daily
- Troubleshoot minor laser machine faults as required
- Move materials and parts safely using lifting equipment and proper lifting practices
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow all Health & Safety and manufacturing procedure.
- Other duties as required by the Production Supervisor.

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
