Sewa Enterprise Ltd. is looking for dedicated and reliable Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our growing transportation team in Surrey, BC. If you take pride in safe driving, maintaining your vehicle, and keeping Canada’s supply chain moving, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo as required
- Perform and document pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections (including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage units, and other equipment)
- Oversee vehicle condition and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Record cargo details, hours of service, distances traveled, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate
- Experience: Experience an asset (training provided)
- Licence: Valid Class 1 / A Driver’s Licence or equivalent
- Endorsement: Air Brakes Endorsement
- Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook and inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Transportation/Travel Experience: Long-haul routes
