Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding guest services in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with inquiries and reservations.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Help resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with food service operations and restaurant environments is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with guests and staff.
- Knowledge of POS systems is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality are crucial for success in this role.
