W-S Feed & Supplies Ltd. has an opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual as a DZ Truck Driver at our Tavistock location.
As the Delivery Driver, the successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of our finished feed products to customer farm locations and pick up commodities from suppliers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver bulk feed product to customers and pick up ingredients.
- Safely load and unload trucks with feed product.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Communicate with dispatch to ensure on-time delivery of products.
- Abide by and observe all safety procedures and Company policies.
- Assist in identifying maintenance concerns and service requirements of vehicles in the fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of an Ontario Class DZ license in good standing with a clean driving abstract.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25kgs.
- Ability to climb trucks using proper safety equipment.
A background in agriculture would be an asset.
