Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete forming placing and finishing. This role involves power troweling, darbying , pouring, finishing.
Duties
- Setting up concrete forms for slabs
- Drive company work truck when needed
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Installing rebar with precision to pass rebar inspections.
- Availability to work out of town when needed hotel and $65 per day will be supplied by CDN Concrete.
- Perform heavy lifting as required
- Ability to drive with truck and trailer.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Keep all concrete placing and finishing tools clean and free of concrete.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills:
- Able to pour and place concrete with precision.
- Experience in commercial/residential concrete finishing work.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, to set forms
- Familiarity with blueprint reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday
- Experience in foundation work is a plus.
- Knowledge of small engine repair is a plus.
- Valid G license
