Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DZ Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, and excellent driving skills.
Duties
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all local and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.
- Must be physical fit and lift reasonable amount of weight.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid DZ Driver's License.
- Must have 3 years Minimum of Experience or better DZ Driving.
- Familiarity with freight handling and logistics processes is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is beneficial for maintaining vehicle performance.
