We’re looking for a Receptionist / Concierge to join our growing team at Robin Hair Specialist, located in Downtown Vancouver.
This role is perfect for someone with a beauty/hospitality background who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with warmth and confidence, and can manage both client experience and daily front-desk operations.
You’ll be the first face clients see — responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing appointments, and coordinating smoothly between stylists and guests.

Duties
- Maintain calm and clear communication during rush hours and high-traffic times
- Greet and welcome clients with professionalism and warmth
- Manage appointment bookings, phone calls, and walk-in inquiries
- Coordinate between stylists and clients to ensure smooth daily flow
- Ensure clients feel comfortable while waiting or transitioning between services
- Handle point-of-sale activities — billing, product sales, and inventory coordination
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
- Support salon operations, scheduling, and team coordination
- Assist in implementing promotions or client loyalty programs
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of customer service or hospitality experience in Canada (salon, spa, hotel, clinic background preferred)
(References from previous workplaces will be required to verify employment.)
- Fluent in English (verbal communication is key), moderate in Punjabi.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — ability to engage clients confidently and professionally
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills — able to manage appointments, floor flow, and customer interactions simultaneously
- Calm under pressure and able to maintain a positive attitude during busy hours
- Experience in sales or upselling products/services is a strong asset
- Professional presentation and warm personality
Work Details
- Part-time position
- Flexible hours (typically 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., may vary)
- Hourly pay plus incentives
