Job Role: Verify CIAM Specialist
Location: Remote in Canada
Must hold an active Canadian Government Security Clearance Reliability, Secret, or higher
We are seeking a skilled IBM Verify CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) Specialist to support digital identity initiatives for Canadian government clients. This is a remote, contract-based opportunity for professionals with deep expertise in CIAM technologies and a strong understanding of Canadian government security standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing and managing secure, user-friendly access solutions using IBM Verify and related technologies. Candidates must hold an active Canadian Government Security Clearance (Reliability, Secret, or higher)
Implement and configure IBM Verify CIAM solutions to support secure access for public-facing digital services.
Collaborate with security architects and government stakeholders to design and maintain CIAM workflows.
Ensure compliance with Canadian government security standards and privacy requirements.
Develop and integrate secure web applications for customer identity workflows.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity provisioning, authentication, and authorization.
Document architecture, integration flows, and deployment procedures.
Participate in client discussions to align technical solutions with business needs.
Support enhanced reliability and security protocols across CIAM implementations.
IBM Verify / CIAM Advanced proficiency in implementing and managing customer identity and access management platforms.
Clearance Active Canadian Government Security Clearance (Reliability, Secret, or higher) is mandatory.
Solution Architecture / Development / Integration Strong hands-on experience in designing and building identity solutions.
Enhanced Reliability & Security Compliance Proven experience working in secure environments or with sensitive data.
Web Application Development Intermediate to advanced knowledge of front-end and back-end technologies.
Integration Specialist Skills Experience with APIs, SSO, federation protocols (OAuth2, SAML, OpenID Connect).
Cloud Platforms Familiarity with deploying CIAM solutions on cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
DevOps & Automation Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
