Your place in our story
The Design Centre Consultant provides the Design Centre with customer relationship management, interior design, and sales services while working toward customer satisfaction, financial results, and employee satisfaction. We are looking for a talented, sales-driven Design Consultant to provide exceptional service to our Low Rise residential homeowners.
Here’s how you’ll contribute
Introduce homeowners to the Minto Design Centre, the design process, and available services
Guide clients through structural, framing, and finishing options for their new home
Maintain accurate notes and files to ensure consistent delivery
Sell optional upgrades while respecting customer service standards
Provide recommendations on new Design Centre offerings based on feedback and trends
Coordinate appointments and confirm selections within internal timelines
Collaborate with internal teams to confirm pricing for optional upgrades
Present and finalize home interior solutions, including documentation and payments
Supply construction teams with actionable drawings and instructions
Liaise with trades to troubleshoot issues and provide creative design solutions
Select finishes for unsold inventory homes prior to deadlines
Conduct on-site inspections as required
Promote and respect the Minto brand and code of conduct
Other related duties as assigned by management

College diploma in Interior Design or related field (an asset)
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in new home construction
Strong understanding of new home construction and design
Consultative sales experience preferred
Ability to work under deadlines and maintain multiple projects
AutoCAD skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and customer-service focus
Ability to read design plans and construction drawings
