About the Role
dp Diamond Blades & Core Cutting Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our core processing operations. In this role, you will help prepare and cut mineral exploration core samples to precise specifications while supporting a safe, efficient, and quality-focused work environment.
No prior core cutting experience is required. We are committed to training motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to our growing team.
What You'll Do
- Cut drill core samples accurately according to interval sheets and client specifications
- Operate core-cutting equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain quality standards and ensure accurate sample processing
- Follow established health and safety procedures
- Prepare, move, and organize core boxes and materials (50-80 lbs.)
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient
- Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to support workflow and continuous improvement

- Ability to work independently when required
- Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials with appropriate equipment and safe work practices
- Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or related experience is considered an asset but is not required
Additional Assets (Not Required)
- Experience operating masonry or core-cutting saws
- Mechanical aptitude or experience with equipment maintenance
- Experience handling geological samples or working in the mining industry
- Forklift certification or operating experience
- Ability to read and interpret sample sheets or technical instructions
