The Giftshop is a premium retail destination located inside Pickering Casino Resort. We offer a unique selection of gifts, apparel, souvenirs, snacks, beverages, travel essentials, accessories, and convenience items to guests visiting the resort.

What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience while maintaining our high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting every guest with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Assisting customers with product selection and recommendations
- Operating the POS system and accurately handling cash, debit, credit, and lottery transactions
- Receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising products
- Maintaining clean, organized, and visually appealing displays
- Restocking merchandise and rotating inventory as required
- Performing opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked store
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Supporting your teammates and contributing to a positive workplace culture
Qualifications
- Previous retail, boutique, gift shop, travel retail, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Honest, dependable, and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
What You'll Do
As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional shopping experience while maintaining our high standards of customer service and store presentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to every guest.
- Operating the POS system and confidently processing Ontario Lottery (OLG) transactions, along with cash, debit, and credit payments.
- Assisting customers with lottery purchases, ticket validation, prize claims (within retailer limits), and promoting responsible lottery play.
- Receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising products.
- Maintaining clean, organized, and visually appealing displays.
- Restocking merchandise and rotating inventory as required.
- Performing opening and closing procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked store.
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
- Supporting your teammates and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Previous lottery experience (OLG) is strongly preferred and will be given priority.
- Previous retail, convenience store, gift shop, boutique, travel retail, or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Comfortable handling high volumes of cash and maintaining accuracy.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Honest, dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs.
Requirements
- Applicants must be 19 years of age or older.
- Lottery experience is considered a major asset. Candidates without lottery experience should be willing and able to complete OLG retailer training upon hire.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Availability
Our store operates 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements
- Must be 19 years of age or older due to the sale of tobacco and lottery products.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
