The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Bridal Seamstress to join our luxury bridal alterations team. This starts as a full-time position, with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and studio fit. We provide steady, consistent hours throughout the year, offering a reliable schedule where you can focus on your craft.
What You’ll Do:
- Work on luxury bridal gowns and high-end formalwear, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship.
- Execute precise alterations, including complex hems, custom bustles, detailed bodice work, and intricate lace/appliqué replication.
- Perform custom gown modifications with a sharp eye for detail and high-quality finishing.
- Handle delicate, premium fabrics with the utmost care.
- Collaborate closely with our small, passionate team to ensure an unforgettable experience for our brides.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 3+ years of bridal or high-end formalwear alteration experience preferred.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of bridal gown construction, tailoring techniques, and delicate fabrics.
- Mindset: A positive, team-oriented attitude. We value kindness and collaboration just as much as technical skill!
- Attributes: Reliable, organized, efficient, and deeply proud of the quality of your work.
- Language: Basic to conversational English is preferred.
