“Man in the Van” – Carpenter / Handyman
The Tarcott Group is a leading residential and commercial management construction company, located in the Fraser Valley. We are urgently hiring additions to our Carpentry team. We handle all types of construction services for strata and commercial including an assortment of work from building envelope projects, water restoration, deck replacements and tenant improvements.

The Tarcott Group is looking for a reliable, experienced “Man in the Van” to handle small jobs, service work, and quick-turnaround projects across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
This role is perfect for someone who likes working independently, staying busy, and taking ownership of their work day.
What You’ll Be Doing
Handling small to mid-size jobs (repairs, installs, maintenance)
Completing service calls and deficiency work
Light renovations and tenant improvement tasks
Troubleshooting and problem-solving on-site
Managing your own schedule and keeping jobs moving
Maintaining a clean, professional presence with clients
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of experience in carpentry, renovations, and repairs
Strong “jack-of-all-trades” skillset (carpentry, finishing, basic repairs, etc.)
Independent, self-starter who doesn’t need supervision
Highly organized and able to manage multiple small jobs
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Reliable, professional, and takes pride in their work
Valid BC Driver’s License (required)
