Personal Lines Account Manager – Multiple Ontario Clients

We partner with multiple reputable insurance brokerages across Ontario that are currently seeking experienced Personal Lines Account Managers to join their teams. These positions offer the opportunity to work with established brokerages that value client service excellence, technical expertise, and strong relationship management.
About the Role
As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance clients while delivering outstanding customer service and professional insurance advice. You will act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, policy changes, renewals, and coverage recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of Personal Lines clients, ensuring timely and accurate handling of requests
- Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and new business submissions
- Provide professional insurance advice and coverage recommendations based on client needs
- Review client accounts for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate coverage levels
- Prepare and present renewal quotes, re-marketing options, and competitive comparisons
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or online platforms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal team members
- Ensure all documentation and client interactions are accurately recorded in the AMS
- Support cross-selling and upselling opportunities when appropriate
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurer underwriting guidelines, products, and market trends
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Personal Lines insurance (Account Manager or CSR)
- RIBO license required (active and in good standing)
- Strong knowledge of Personal Lines products, coverages, and carrier portals
- Experience with Applied Epic, TAM, PowerBroker, SIG, or similar AMS (asset)
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
