Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art
- Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards for all tools and work areas
- Provide body waxing services as needed to enhance client experience
- Upsell additional treatments or retail products to clients to maximize service value
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering personalized recommendations
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction during treatments
- Keep workstations organized and stocked with necessary supplies for efficient service delivery
- Assist in retail sales by promoting nail care products and other beauty items
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology or nail technician license required
- Proven experience in nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, or acrylics preferred
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally and courteously
- Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively to enhance client experience
- Retail sales experience is desirable but not required; training will be provided if needed
