Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Construction Helper to assist with various building projects and site operations. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, supporting skilled tradespeople and contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, dependable, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Aid in carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, and flooring installation
- Participate in construction painting, tile laying, and restoration projects as needed
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure quality finishes
- Assist with construction estimating and material handling to ensure timely project progress
- Support team members in operating heavy machinery and equipment for site development
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools, and power tools is a plus, but not required
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license are preferred for site access
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all necessary skills
