Carpenter / Carpenter Foreman

YC General Contracting is a growing renovation and construction company looking to add a reliable Carpenter / Carpenter Foreman to our team.
This position is ideal for an experienced carpenter, motivated apprentice, or skilled labourer looking to grow within a company that offers a wide variety of residential renovation and construction projects.
We are not necessarily looking for a master carpenter. We are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, willing to learn, and capable of working independently while maintaining quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- General carpentry and renovation work
- Framing, rough carpentry, and structural modifications
- Installation of doors, trim, cabinets, and finishing details
- Demolition and site preparation
- Reading basic plans and layouts
- Working with other trades and crew members
- Maintaining a clean and organized worksite
- Assisting with project coordination and leadership as experience allows
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- decent carpentry and construction knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials
- Own basic hand tools are considered an asset

Pay: $23.00-$33.00 per hour
