Certified Vehicle Inspector (Red Seal or Equivalent) – Flexible Part-Time Contract
We are actively seeking a Certified Vehicle Inspector (Red Seal, ASE, or equivalent automotive certification) to join our inspector network for a recurring client assignment.
This is an excellent opportunity to supplement your income with consistent, flexible work.
Position Details
- Visit our client twice per week to complete Pre-Sale Inspections (PSIs)
- $23.00 per completed inspection
- $350.00 monthly performance bonus
- Flexible scheduling within your assigned days

Availability Requirements
All inspections must be completed within a 48-hour service window. Because of this, your two weekly availability periods cannot be on consecutive days. For example:
- Monday & Thursday
- Tuesday & Friday
Morning or afternoon availability is acceptable, provided the schedule allows us to consistently meet our client's turnaround requirements.

In addition to receiving vehicle inspection requests in the area, We're looking for someone who can commit to being available two mornings or two afternoons per week, ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, to assist with lead responsibilities while continuing to perform inspections. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys leadership, flexibility, and helping maintain high inspection standards.

Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed vehicle inspections, including mechanical, functional, and road-test evaluations
- Complete professional inspection reports using the CarInspect mobile app
- Communicate clearly and professionally with dealerships and customers
- Coordinate inspection appointments directly with dealerships
- Inspect multiple vehicles at the same location when applicable

Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician in Canada:
- 310S
- 310T
- Red Seal
- or provincial equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on mechanical experience
- Comfortable using mobile applications and digital inspection tools
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

This includes:
- Technician license verification
- Driver’s license verification

A member of the CarInspect team will also contact you directly during onboarding.
Once completed, approved inspectors gain access to inspection opportunities through the CarInspect platform and mobile app.
Pay: $65.00 per hour
