Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager to lead our daily business activities, optimize operational efficiency, and drive overall store performance. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, team management, merchandising, and administrative functions. Duties
- Manage daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all departments
- Lead, supervise, and develop a diverse team of staff members through effective training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Oversee retail sales activities, including merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue
- Handle recruiting efforts by interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and supporting ongoing staff development
- Maintain accurate payroll processing, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping records in compliance with company policies
- Monitor inventory levels through purchasing and stock management to ensure product availability and optimal store presentation
- Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and enhance brand visibility within the community
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or store supervision with strong leadership skills
- Must have Bachelors / Masters in Canada.
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (specify languages if applicable) and monolingual settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
- Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling procedures, and pricing strategies
- Skilled in recruiting, training & development, team management, and supervising staff performance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities
- Familiarity with budgeting, merchandising techniques, marketing strategies, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping and payroll processing
- Experience with retail sales environments including cashiering, store management, and sales management roles
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are preferred to better serve diverse customer bases

Pay: $70,000.00-$125,287.04 per year
