About the Role
The Account Manager is a business development professional, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with a subset of AtomVie Global Radiopharma’s (AtomVie’s) clients’ accounts. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will drive sales of AtomVie’s CDMO services by understanding clients’ specific needs, by building client relationships and by promoting business growth of each assigned client account with the goal of achieving revenue targets.

What You Will Do
Client Project Management and Coordination
-
Manage assigned client projects to ensure proper communication with internal teams and meet critical timelines and generate key documentation to support internal teams.

Conduct internal and external business team meetings, plan and execute client presentations, create and manage project timelines, prepare and execute action item lists and project plans.

Work collaboratively with all the internal teams to establish an effective flow of communication and an optimal structure to ensure all the programs are managed and coordinated appropriately.

Proactively establish productive, professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Understand the organization’s corporate business development goals and translate them into day-to-day activities for self and the team.

Work collaboratively with other members of the Business Development team and cross-functionally with key departments to maximize the value and the quality of services provided to all the clients.
Client and Account Management, Business Development

Coordinate and facilitate all communications with the assigned client accounts.
-
Facilitate effective communication between external and internal stakeholders through project, team and 1-on-1 meetings.

Establish communication plans to ensure program goals, technical risks, opportunities, and internal & external requirements are clearly reported to all stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements, drug specifications, and applicable regulations (i.e. HC and FDA) throughout the production and supply chain processes for the assurance of quality, safety, and efficacy of the produced drugs.

Actively identify new business opportunities arising from client accounts and coordinate the involvement of internal stakeholders to meet account performance objectives in a timely manner and customer expectations.

Identify unmet needs from the clients and proactively work at addressing the identified needs.

Create budget, and work with Business Development and other internal teams to generate new quotations and proposals that include the desired scope from the clients

Draft, negotiate, and execute Work Orders and Clinical Supply Agreements with the assigned clients.

Manage all the assigned clients’ accounts and ensure accurate invoicing in collaboration with Finance and other internal teams as appropriate using an ERP system with the goal of meeting the set KPIs.

Understand revenue targets and strive towards achieving them through fostering the growth of the assigned client accounts.

Attend trade shows as requested by the Director of Business Development in order to meet and grow the prospective client pipeline as well as foster current client relationships.

Contribute to forecasting, business risk mitigation, opportunity prospecting, and defining business growth strategy.

Ensure and measure the client(s) satisfaction throughout their engagement lifecycle.

Provide regular reports on account performance, client satisfaction, and order progress and changes.
Safety
-
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environment protection rules, with engagement of all staff to apply the policies, procedures and regulations applicable to their work.
Requirements
-
University degree in life sciences, pharmacy or related fields.
-
5 years of relevant account management experience in a pharmaceutical or contract research organization (CRO), contract development or manufacturing (CDMO) environment, with strong knowledge of the pharma/biotech industry.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and writing skills, with an aptitude for problem solving and consensus building.

3+ years of experience in sales or business development in B2B industry, responsible for fully managing key accounts, including writing, negotiating and executing contracts for each account.

Solid client negotiation and influencing skills.
-
Demonstrated leadership/people management skills and ability to work as part of a team.
-
PMP certification is an asset; otherwise, strong project coordination skills are required.

Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.

Travel to conferences/trade shows as assigned by Director, Business Development.
Compensation:
Annual salary starts at $100,000. Compensation is based on relevant industry experience, academic credentials, and qualifications.
