Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Auto Body Apprentice – Level 2/3 to join our team. Duties
- Assist with vehicle body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, removal and installation of vehicle components.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform various repair tasks efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and proper procedures during all repair activities
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within specified timeframes
- Learn and apply standards for quality and customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous auto body shop experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of collision repair procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques is beneficial
- Prior experience with automotive repair or mechanic work is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the auto body repair field
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions diligently
- Familiarity with MPI claims and repair processes preferred
- Understanding of MPI repair standards, estimates, supplements, and repair workflow is an asset
Requirements:
- Registered Level 2 or Level 3 Auto Body Apprentice
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
