We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor. This role will be based in Mississauga or Toronto . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You will report to the Sales Team Leader and join a team of high-performing sales professionals. In this role you will proactively support Benefits Advisors within our Group Benefits Division and work to meet or exceed sales and retention targets. Success requires strong decision-making, initiative, and the ability to manage a block of business for renewals.
We will count on you to:
Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets by partnering with Benefits Advisors to review quotes for prospective clients and present compelling proposals.
Manage all financial responsibilities for assigned existing accounts, including annual renewals and related billing activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Benefits Advisors, anticipating their needs to encourage them to bring business to Victor.
Maintain thorough knowledge of Victor’s client management processes, systems, and underwriting guidelines.
Oversee the plan amendment process to ensure accurate, timely updates and compliance.
Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
What you need to have:
Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ insurance sales experience (group benefits preferred); familiarity with life, disability, underwriting, and healthcare insurance may be considered.
Strong sales drive and interpersonal skills, with proven motivation to achieve and exceed business targets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including superior presentation abilities and a passion for delivering persuasive client-facing presentations.
Quick, efficient decision-maker who generates innovative solutions and adapts effectively to changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; comfortable creating client-ready materials and supporting sales processes; hold or ability to obtain a life license within 12 months of hire.

Hold or working toward a GBA or CEBS designation.
Proven track record supporting large blocks of clients in the small-to-mid-size employee benefits market.
