Job Description
Providing Disability Management, Incident Investigation and Health and Safety consulting services while representing All-Safe HSE and the clients on their worksites including;
- WCB Claim coordination including worker and employer reporting, case documentation and file management, modified work, return-to-work planning, etc.
- Incident management including reporting and investigation, including root cause analysis through a variety of tools (Taproot/SCAT etc.)
- WCB account management including account review and advisory, appeals, applications for cost relief, etc.
- HSE Manual and support documentation creation and update
- Gap and needs analysis including detailed action plans and roll out processes
- Meeting with client on their sites for a variety of concerns and follow up
- Quick and professional response to client concerns via phone & email
- HSE Auditing, majority of auditing follows ACSA and AASP models, however there are clients with other audit partners
- Other roles and responsibilities as required and requested by All-Safe and client Management
Location of Work
Office located at 10235 184 St NW, Edmonton. Work at home available, with the expectation to visit client sites.
Schedule
- Potentially very flexible
- Minimum 40 hour work weeks available
- Maximum 50 hour work weeks, unless there is an incident or emergency that necessitates further follow up.

Wages
- $30/hr to start while mentoring
- Mentorship assessment at worker request or at 3 months
- Re-assessment of wages after mentorship period or end of probationary period
Requirements
Technical
- Direct experience at Alberta WCB, WorkSafeBC, WorkSafeSK, in claim management and appeals processes
- Designation or education in disability management, such as through Pacific Coast University
- Designations and education in HSE an asset; CRSP, CRST, CHSC, CSO, ROH, OHN, COHS, OHS Diploma.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in disability management, WCB claim and account management
- Strong working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation, Guidelines, and Workers Compensation Act, Claims Management, Canada Labor Law , Human Rights legislation, Regulations, Codes, Standards, etc.
- Experience in the management and administration of occupational health and safety programs
- Strong analytical skills for understanding how to interpret data and trends.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- General knowledge and understanding of office protocol and organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group and to all levels of staff within an organization from owner to workers.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook and online file sharing systems.
- Auditor Certification with AASP or ACSA would be an asset.
- Current HSE certification in:
- Intermediate First Aid
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance
- Provide current 5 year drivers abstract
- Provide current (within the last 3 months) criminal record check with vulnerable sector completed
