Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Installation Helper to assist with the installation of custom wood staircases, railings, handrails, and related components at residential and commercial job sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, willing to learn, and comfortable using hand and power tools while working in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist installers with the installation of wood staircases, railings, handrails, posts, balusters, and trim.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow installation drawings and supervisor instructions.
- Support the installation team in ensuring projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Perform site cleanup after installation is completed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, carpentry, installation, or general labor is considered an asset.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred.
- Valid driver's license is an asset.

Working Conditions

Pay: $18.00 per hour
