Bridge Creek Culverts Inc. is a locally owned culvert manufacturing company located on the South end of Grande Prairie in the County Industrial Park. We manufacture and sell culverts, couplers and culvert markers as well as retailing various erosion control products.
We immediately require a self motivated individual to work in our shop and yard, and do deliveries and pick ups as required.
Must have a valid Class 5 and clean abstract, ability to drive with 40' trailer, as well as reliable transportation to and from work.
First Aid, H2S and CSO required. WHMIS and TDG (provided in house)
Duties would include, but not be limited to:
- Greeting customers, ensure they have signed in, ensuring safety is a priority.
- Preparing and loading culvert orders. This will include beveling pipe ends with either a gas powered chop saw or plasma cutter. Banding bundles for transport.
- Driving a pick up truck/trailer to deliver and pick up product as required.
- Proper placement and securement of loads.
- Good communication with the office and yard manager to ensure smooth operations.
When not on deliveries, you will be required to work in the shop/yard for the following;
- Inventory counts and keeping track of inventory.
- Washing, detailing, fueling and light maintenance of vehicles and equipment, including shoveling tracks, greasing, dealing with flat tires and reporting all maintenance required. All pertinent paperwork to follow up.
- Keeping the yard/shop organized. Includes such tasks as picking up banding, dunnage, blading/floating the yard. Painting, cleaning and light shop improvements as required.
- Keeping shop and yard in a clean, neat, and orderly manner. Sweeping and mopping floors, shoveling snow, washing windows, etc. Appearance is everything!
- Fabrication of culverts, couplers, culvert markers, dunnage and other related products.
- Welding and torch experience would be an asset but not required.
- Loader and skidsteer experience an asset.

8 hours a day min. Monday to Friday. Hours may vary with seasons and client requirements. Must be willing to work or be on call evenings and weekends as required.
